I have been very intentional about my now 20+ years marketing career and my eclectic array of experiences in diverse fields, markets, brands, and industries have given me the opportunity to strengthen my problem-solving skills across a variety of industries and roles.

Ivonne Kinser is a marketing innovation expert, a former head of marketing and Innovation at Avocados From Mexico, and the founder of Vantage Innovation Lab. Her company’s focus is assisting food brands in driving growth and market penetration through strategic and high-performing innovation, utilizing unconventional marketing approaches, and leveraging marketing technology as a means to enhance performance. Additionally, she serves as the innovation advisor for the Food Institute, the single source for food industry news, data, and trends since 1928.

 Throughout her 20+ year marketing career, she has held leadership roles in multiple corporations representing multi-billion-dollar brands. She has also worked with top advertising agencies such as Lintas, McCann Erickson Worldwide, and The Richards Group, collaborating with well-known brands across various categories.

In the past decade, as the head of marketing & innovation for Avocados From Mexico, Ivonne led the innovation agenda that propelled the brand to be recognized as one of the Most Innovative Companies in the world by Fast Company in 2021, topping the branding category. Her work has earned more than 40 accolades for creativity and performance.

 In 2022, Ivonne became the first Latina to receive the AMA DFW Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award. She has been included in the list of 100 Most Influential Latinas in the U.S. for two consecutive years. Prior to that, she was honored with the Changing the Game Award in the Brainwave category, recognizing her as one of the five women who fearlessly make bold moves and reinvent the rules of marketing to transform their brands and organizations. This award was bestowed by the prestigious She Runs It organization.

She is the author of THINK, a provocative book that invites all to unapologetically embrace critical and creative thinking, which will be released in December of 2023. She is also a prolific keynote speaker on disruptive marketing, both nationally and internationally. Additionally, she is a regular marketing lecturer at IPADE, the top business school in Mexico, and serves on the board of the DFW American Marketing Association.
